Tales From The Script
As designers, there is a strong urge to be a generalist and to wish for the ability to participate in any aspect of any project that allows for the creation of free-flowing ideation. We were schooled to believe our creativity can solve any problem. And to a certain extent that is true. What happens later is the examination of specialization. A specialized position comforts potential buyers and tells them we know what we’re doing. Beyond all that specialized work however, is other work we enjoy producing.
